SATs week is finally finished. The papers are packed away. Whatever this week felt like for you — challenging, tiring, focused, or even a bit surprising — you’ve made it through.
And that matters.
Because SATs week isn’t just about what is written on a paper. It is about showing up, trying your best, and carrying on even when things feel a bit tough. That’s resilience — and it shows up in more ways than any test can measure.
You have done something important this week. Not just sitting exams, but sticking with tricky questions instead of giving up, managing nerves and carrying on anyway, focusing for long stretches when it wasn’t easy, and showing what you’ve learned over years of primary school. That takes effort, patience, and determination. Even if some moments felt hard, you kept going, and that is something to be proud of.
And just like that, SATs week is over, and the final half term of primary school begins.
This is a special time. It’s not just the end of Year 6, but the beginning of saying goodbye to a familiar chapter and getting ready for the next one.
There will still be lessons, laughter, trips, sports day and memories to make. But there will also be something else in the air, excitement about what comes next. High school is waiting. New subjects, new teachers, new routines, and new friendships are all just around the corner.
