Primary schools can REACH out for help/advice/support if children are displaying challenging behaviour. We will work with you to help understand the underlying needs that the child is communicating through their behaviour. We will work with the child, school staff and parents to develop different responses to situations so a more positive outcome is achieved for everyone.
We will provide outREACH support that is bespoke to the child and your setting. We have not got a magic wand (unfortunately) and we do not know all the answers, but we have many years of experience working both as teachers (in mainstream and in the PRU) and as outreach support. We will work with you to find strategies that are effective for both staff and the child.
We want children to achieve their full potential, so we ask them to aim high and REACH for the stars.
School staff sometimes need phone call advice to talk through a difficult situation or specific problem. REACH can help.
Sometimes more direct support is needed and REACH can help with this too. We have packages of hours that schools can choose from and we will then work together to decide how these hours can best be used. The key is working together in partnership to help.
