Today marks January 74th, we have both been saying that once January is over with, it always feels that the lighter evenings are about to creep in, and I think we are all ready for it.
I love the seasons but really get ready for the lighter evenings, there is nothing better than going to and from work in the light and being able to go out for a dog walk once the working day is done (I know my sausage dog Bobby agrees with me too, he really is not a fan of the dark and the rain). It is my bit of relaxation time where I gather my thoughts and wind down from the day. On Sunday morning I went for a walk with my son, and he was saying the same to me, we both can’t wait for spring and summer, it really feels as though it is near now, it was still a bit light at 5pm this week and it is only going to get later.
Sue sent this to me last weekend, it really did make me smile I hope it makes you smile too.
