This week has been a crazy busy week, but we have loved it, we always do love the work that we do as no two days are ever the same.
We have both worked with individual children this week and have met new families that we are going to be supporting over the next few months. We have also caught up with the wonderful TAs that we have been supporting and continue to work with this year. We did a focused session on ‘emotional literacy’ sharing good practice and developing ideas to provide further opportunities to support the children. We are all always learning and developing ideas.
We have also completed some 1:1 sessions with staff in schools to further develop strategies that they are using to support individuals and cohorts. Next week we are doing a lot more of the same work, but we are also going to visit all the year 7 children that we have supported this academic year as they have made the transition from year 6 to high school, we can’t wait to see them all, they have all done so well.
