I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing break and are now ready for the new term. My first week of the Easter holidays was spent in Devon, walking along the beach and cliff tops looking out on the beautiful glistening sea. We were so lucky with the weather …

Look at the colour of that sky. Wow!
For me, nature helps to calm and reset me – I enjoy the peace and quiet. We walked for miles and saw the most amazing views and let ourselves completely unwind.
Our second week of the holiday was spent with family; the days were busy and full of laughter and fun. I love spending time with everyone, and we have made more wonderful memories to look back on.

For me, this is true – nature helps me feel calm.
Helping children to relax and learn to calm themselves and feel peace is so important. This will be different for everyone, and it takes time to learn what really works for each individual, but it will help children now and later in life. Try different calming strategies until you find what works. Adults also need to make time for themselves doing things they love to do.
Have a great term everyone.
