Christmas is a wonderful time of year for many, but it can be such a difficult time for others.
Christmas is a time for family and friends and fun and laughter, but for some it brings back terrible and painful memories.

Remember, to check in on those you know who may be suffering at this time of the year and the lead up to it.
Also remember to look below the surface at the behaviours that you might see in your class at this time of the year. Children may not know what they are feeling and will, therefore, express underlying emotions through their behaviour.
Let them know you are there for them, even if (especially if) they are testing your patience.
Enjoy the last few weeks of term, have fun, look after each other and look after yourselves.
