As adults we all learn and think differently and we all face daily challenges, these challenges may be at work or home or both. We all go through challenging times for various reasons, and it can be a healthy reaction to feel negative emotions when facing challenges. There’s no single “right way” to react, and some of us are more deeply affected by events than others. Everyone is different and everyone deals with things differently.
– The bigger the challenge, the bigger the opportunity for growth –
Life experiences, upbringing and environment all affect our mental health and influence how we think and respond to situations. It can also depend on how well other parts of our life are going or how supported we feel.
Challenges are what make life interesting;
Overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.
We face daily challenges in the work that we do, and we support children and staff who are dealing with varying challenges daily. It is so important that we support one another by offering reassurance, having time to listen to the staff and children, talking through the worries, offering practical help, and looking after them. We love supporting the children and staff in dealing with the challenges that they face, and it is so rewarding when we all take a step back and look at how far everyone has come – all of a sudden, the challenges don’t seem to be as challenging.
