~Daisy’s Dragon by Frances Stickley and Annabel Tempest~

I love this story to use with the children, it is all about exploring feelings, but please beware when reading the book as it does contain dragons!

The little girl in the story, Daisy, can see her dragons but they aren’t just any old dragons, they are actually her feelings. It is a great way of exploring feelings and developing an understanding that all feelings are ok and that we all need to have and experience all of the different feelings.

Using the story is a great way of exploring happy, calm, angry, scared, sad and brave, we then use play-doh and puppets and do more work around each of these emotions.

Like I have already said though, beware there are lots of dragons in the book.
