We have had a wonderful day at Farington Lodge with the D7 Steering Group and the South Ribble Schools.
The conference was really well attended, and it was lovely to see and speak to so many familiar faces, it was inspiring to listen to so many good practices that are taking place in the schools across the district and to hear about the support that our children have in place.
We got to listen to Karen and Michelle who talked about trauma informed approaches, Matt and Oscar, the Children’s Champions, talked about their role and the impact that they have had, Sarah Davidson from Children and Family Wellbeing, Alison Walsh from TASS and of course we got to listen to all the schools there as they shared their behaviour journeys.
It is great to be able to support each other and to see everybody helping each other and sharing new initiatives.
We would both like to say a massive thank you to the D7 Steering Group for organising such a wonderful day and for all the amazing hard work that they do throughout the year. We can’t wait for next year’s conference now!! And of course,we can’t wait to continue to work with all of the schools.
