ECT Training

Wow, what a week this week has been. We started the week with meeting some amazing ECTs and RQTs alongside their mentors. The focus of the session was ‘how to support children with challenging behaviour in the primary classroom’. The session focused on the theoretical side of behaviour and our next session after the Easter holiday will be focusing on practical strategies for in the classroom.

It was so lovely to meet the ECTs as they start their career;teaching is an amazing vocation, inspiring and supporting children is simply the best job ever. We know it can be challenging at times and that is why we felt that offering a supportive network where we can all share good practice would be ideal. It is so important that we all share our experiences and support one another as we educate our children so they can flourish within school.

If you have found something that has really worked in your classroom for supporting children with challenging behaviour please do share it with us, we love to hear about ideas you have no matter how big or small.
