Well done everyone for completing 2 weeks back!! I am so proud of you all (it is hard work coming back after the Christmas break), this is a phrase that many of the children that we are fortunate to work with love to hear.
Within the last two weeks we have worked with lots of different children, as we all know no two children are the same but for them to just hear these few words really does mean so much to them.
I have recently worked with a boy in year 5 who transitioned to year 6 in September last year, he really has worked hard on managing his emotions and developing positive relationships, the result of this is he is now being successful at school, he has just achieved in his mock SAT exams (something he never thought he would do). Although I am not currently working with him at the moment, the school continue to update me on how he is doing. I emailed him last week (through the school), to remind him how wonderful he is and how proud I am of him. The reply I got back was just beautiful. His school, family and I are all so proud of him and seeing him flourish makes our job the best job ever!!
