Wow! What a half term that has been. We have had the most incredible half term although it has been a busy one, we just love doing our job and feel so lucky that we get the privilege to work in so many schools. Schools are incredible places with the most amazing staff working so hard.
During this half term we have continued to work with individual children, we have supported challenging cohorts (believe me there has been lots of those), we have run cluster meetings and consultations, we have attended and presented at a headteachers conference, we have done TA training, completed behaviour audits and the list goes on….
When we reflect on the half term we have ‘reached’ so many children, staff and families working in creative ways bespoke to each child and school. I think it is important that as we end the half term, we all step back and look at where we were at the beginning of September, look at the achievements that you have made and reflect on all of the positives as there will be lots of them!!! Sometimes we don’t see how far we have come until we ‘take a moment’.
We would both like to wish all of our schools, families, children and staff a very happy half term, enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, and recharge your batteries ready for another busy half term as we prepare for Christmas!
