Asking For Help

This week has been another busy week and I think it is important to really make sure we all look after each other.

During the week we have supported individual children, worked with groups of high school children, guided parents and been a support network for many staff members across our schools

As I reflect on the week, I think it is so important to remember to ask for support when it is needed, in our consultations and cluster meetings we have collectively shared challenges that schools are having, within these meetings we have offered strategies and shared previous experiences. We must remember that we don’t always have the answer to everything, but it is OK to ask, remember the smallest of achievements that we make with the children really do matter.

“What is the bravest thing you’ve ever said? asked the boy.
‘Help,’ said the horse.
‘Asking for help isn’t giving up,’ said the horse. ‘It’s refusing to give up.”

Asking for support shows strength and we are all doing the best that we possibly can.
