Reach would like to wish all of our schools, families, and children a very happy half term holiday. We have had an amazing first half term – we have continued to work with all of our schools, while developing new plans that we are really excited to start properly after Easter.
As we come to the end of this half term, we have both reflected on the past 6 weeks as Reach. It has been, and we are sure it will continue to be, an exciting journey. We have developed new plans and we are working closely with the Inclusion Hubs to work out how best we can support our schools, families and children so watch this space!! We want to ‘Reach out’ to support as many staff, families and children as we can.
During this half term, we have continued to work with some amazing young children delivering intervention support as well as up-skilling staff. We are so lucky that we get to do the job we do as seeing children develop in confidence and build on their emotional well-being is incredibly rewarding. We have also supported a number of classes, developing bespoke strategies for the class alongside individualised strategies for some children that just need that little bit of extra support.
We have been building on our resources and after half term we have something really exciting to share with you all (well we think it is exciting, so we hope you do too!!)
We would both like to thank everyone that has supported us so far as we set out on our journey as ‘Reach’. The support and feedback that we have had has been positively overwhelming and we can’t wait to see what happens in the next half term.
Enjoy the week and let’s hope the sun starts to shine!
